The musical symbols are a notation of marks and symbols used as representation of the sound, in its musical aspect, within a musical score.
It is a graphical representation of pitch, rhythm, tempo and dynamics of a musical piece.
These symbols have been used since the 13th century, and today the notation system used mainly is “western graphic system”.
Within the lines of the pentagram, a series of signs and symbols are being written. Armor, key, compas, notes, tempo, bars, accidents, dynamics …. are elements that are configuring the score according to the creative and artistic activity of the author.
